Thanks for the comment, Simon, appreciated. You're absolutely right, it's definitely relative to the size and scale of whatever it is you own.

When I think about moving, it's not my record collection that I worry about, and you're 10000% correct that we find a way. We haven't moved for 10 years and I reckon we've got at least 5-7 more years before I need to deal with that.

I think your motivations for collecting are inspired and if I understand correctly, appreciate the purity that comes with that insight. I find the experience of playing a 1970s pressing of an ACDC or Thin Lizzy record to be substantially different from streaming it on Spotify and am still haunted by new versions of recordings on streaming services that don't meld with the imprinted memories I have.
