Thanks for the comments, Bernard, this is an excellent illustration of an inevitable horizon. And from my perspective, it's A OK where the artist can opt in. As we all know the goal for many is not purely a commercial one (money rather than the type of music.)
You're absolutely correct when saying that the puritans can stick to the orthodox experiences - not everyone bought or was impacted by the "remix" albums, so these themes can coexist.
It doesn't derail my concern that the ownership of the IP becomes questionable, and same thing, who ultimately decides what happens to the artists creation? My utopian view is always the artist, but that's not how the world works ha ha.
