Thanks Matt. It's a great question, and perhaps the simplest answer is that in the work place, relationships are precarious. One of the keenest sentiments I draw from it is like the frosty nature of some of our interactions, where that mindset becomes the pattern of interaction, a shift towards a different relationship commences with one conversation and can be built on incrementally. I find that most ideas, models, frameworks rely on some degree of a mutual baseline where participants can operate towards an objective but there's always some utopian aspect to it. The Fierce Conversations idea is significantly within the sphere of influence of the person adopting it, and I think that's a noteworthy advantage. Appreciated.
