We use originality.ai for this purpose for two reasons - the first is that in an agency business, we need to validate for clients that we’re not taking whatever shortcuts they think are being taken, and second because for copy and content, it will inevitably destroy their search rankings. Google’s core updates decimate an array of sites for poor quality content and while that may not be strictly because it’s ai generated, there’s a relationship. I also find that ppl who over index on ai tools don’t tend to put a lot of effort into determining whether their work is if a standard. It’s a shortcut to efficiency not quality. This is of course separate to the generation of ideas or defining what the collective thinking might be about a topic.
